"Letting go" has become a buzz phrase in recent times. It is about releasing something or someone we have been holding on to or hoarding for a long time causing us to remain stuck and stagnant.
How does this work? What are its benefits? How does letting go help us to grow and evolve?
 
This evening our speaker will address these issues and show us how to let go and move forward in various areas of our lives.
 
About Speaker:
 
Dr Nirmala Kajaria was born in 1935 in Mumbai to a Gujarati family. On completing medical studies, in 1962 she came across the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris.  She started a BK Centre in Mumbai while continuing to run a medical practice.  
In 1965 she established a medical clinic specialising in diseases common to developing countries, supplementing patient’s treatment with meditation.
After 7 years Dr Kajaria ceased practising medicine to dedicate her energy to spiritual service.
From 1971 to 1978 she represented the BKs in the UK, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mauritius.
From 1978 to 2009 Dr Kajaria was stationed in Australia as the regional coordinator for the Asia Pacific region.
Since 2009:Director of the Academy for a Better World at the spiritual headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu, Rajasthan, India.Regional coordinator of Asia Pacific region.Trustee of the World Renewal Spiritual Trust, at Brahma Kumaris spiritual headquarters, India.
