Our Raja Yoga Meditation course can be taken online or offline, over 12 twice-a-week sessions, or you can join our Fast Track course, which is over 7 days. Most people feel benefit after one or two sessions. The course teaches simple methods of meditation and introduces you to yourself, your innate Powers and Virtues, the Supreme, the Tree of Life, the Cycle of Time, the Law of Karma and much more.

Understanding Myself

We must be more than what we can see. Our bodies grow old and eventually die, but who am I, really? This first lesson offers insights into the true identity of the self and practice in how to experience this – the first step to meditation.

We are beings of light energy and each one is unique. There is a Supreme Intelligence, and this all-powerful energy is accessible to everyone. In this session we show how to develop your own special relationship with the Supreme Being and how to begin to download all the love and spiritual power you wish.

Understanding Karma

The word ‘karma’ has come to mean shorthand for negative repercussions, but the word simple means ‘action’. It is true that our actions have repercussions, but they can be wonderful just as easily as uncomfortable. In this session we explain how the laws of karma work, and offer a blueprint into making the seeds we plant now turn into a beautiful harvest.

The soul has many powers. There are eight core powers that we can learn to strengthen in the same way as we strengthen muscles through exercise. The stronger they become, the more they are there to help us in every situation we face. The power to withdraw and step back, the power to pack up and stop wasteful thinking, the power to accommodate, accept the presence and ideas of others, the power to discriminate, discern the subtle, the power of judgement to assess and make decisions, the power to face, confront our obstacles, the power to co-operate and the power to tolerate.

Inner Powers

Understanding Time

Time is just another dimension. We all know about our world of three dimensions that we live in and use that knowledge to live our daily lives. When we understand time, then we add an extra dimension to our understanding.

While we may understand that we are all brothers, the tree of humanity shows us how we are all connected and belong to the same family tree. We understand that the tree has one seed from which everything grows.

Meditation Practice

This session brings all the understanding gathered throughout the course into practising a deepening of the meditations experienced so far. Because of the knowledge accumulated in each session, the meditation practice can be longer and deeper. It is guided by the teacher and there is a chance for you to ask all the questions you have yet unanswered.

This last session gives you some valuable lifestyle suggestions for maintaining a healthy mind and body and giving you the best chance of being able to take all that has been learnt into your practical life. We offer suggestions for diet, exercise, thought patterns, rest and healthy sleep and the advantages of studying these spiritual concepts every day.
